About The Israeli Volunteering Council
The Israeli Volunteering Council leads the volunteering arena in Israel. The Council’s mission is to develop data-based infrastructure in order to advance volunteering in Israel. The Council develops tools and promotes policy change by combining theory, practice, research, and implementation to improve the quality of volunteering, and advance volunteer management.
The Council trains professionals through the "school for volunteering", builds a volunteer community, and brings recognition through national awards.
The Council assesses the impact of volunteering activities and develops volunteer programs that address national needs, in coordination with Government ministries and aid organizations.
